• Drive maturation of quality processes and systems within the Card-Monroe organization and lead the teams through certification and recertification activities.
• Work with leadership to outline quality improvement plans and determine resource requirements to ensure success.
• Lead CMC through initial certification efforts.
• Plan and facilitate internal, customer, and 3rd party surveillance/recertification audits.

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for applying Lean concepts to volume manufacturing of electrical cabinets at the CMA Chattanooga location. This person will work directly with the production team and under the supervision of the VP of Operations. This is a great opportunity to play an integral role in the scale up of a new production operation and the ground-up implementation of a Lean production system. Reports to: VP of Operations

Responsibilities:
• Conduct time studies and multi-cycle analysis to optimize production layouts and work cell configuration, relative to takt time.
• Develop and update work instructions and job aids to document current best practices and ensure quality.
• Work with the production team daily on issue resolution and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and events.
• Identify and develop justifications for automation opportunities to improve safety, quality, and/or productivity.
• Work with the team to implement and sustain 5S and visual management throughout.
• Attend daily accountability meetings and work with production leadership to ensure effectiveness.
• Participate in and lead problem solving teams, coaching good problem-solving practices and behaviors. Leverage 5-Whys, 8D, Ishikawa diagrams, and other tools, to promote effective root cause analysis.
• Analyze production data and develop trends and pareto charts to focus improvement efforts on impactful opportunities, and then to measure the impact of improvements.
• Develop and implement material handling strategies (pull, kanban, etc.) to ensure material availability and minimize inventory. May include work with customers and suppliers to ensure optimization of the entire system.
• Be a coach and mentor to spread Lean thinking throughout the team, helping others understand and apply key concepts.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Minimum Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or other engineering fields strongly preferred
• Associates degree in a technical field with equivalent years of experience will be considered

Minimum Previous Experience

• 5+ years of experience implementing lean concepts in volume production environments

Minimum Additional Training

• Experience developing PFMEAs and control plans is a plus
• Experience working in an ISO 9001 (or comparable) certified operation is preferred
• Proficient in the use of computers, email, and cell phone to communicate

The Production Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the electrical panel shop, custom equipment build shop, and field services team at the CMA Greenville location. Direct reports will include both front-line supervisors and direct hourly team members. The Production Manager will be responsible for delivery of quality products on time to our customers and development of the team in alignment with our core values. Reports to: VP of Operations

Responsibilities:
• Provide daily leadership for multiple production teams, delivering custom and repetitive electrical panel builds, custom mechanical equipment, robotics systems, and field installation.
• Single point of accountability for project work going through the production areas.
• Scheduling and prioritization of work through the shop, in coordination with project managers and other disciplines.
• Work closely and coordinate with other functional teams across the business to ensure positive outcomes for our teams, customers, and business. This includes at a minimum mechanical engineering, automation engineering, project management, and procurement, among others.
• Recruit and develop talented team members.
• Implement and sustain 5S and visual management.
• Implement and sustain daily stand-up meetings with teams.
• Support maintenance of building and equipment to meet production requirements, including preventative maintenance and calibration plans as required.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency in the assembly of precision systems.
• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of complex systems.
• Manage and approve time sheets for direct reports.
